So here's a tape I had to repair tonight in order to get it to work. This was the original tape that was in the boom box that was recording Bored to Death at the Capo Beach Studio, across PCH a bit up from Hole in the Fence. The Capo Studio was a great little party spot/rehearsal space that doubled if memory serves me, as a studio rental for a substitute teacher at Dana Hills High School? Help me out here People. I've fried waaaay tooo many brain cells to have my remembrance of the past held in any sort of account.
The artwork above is by Steve Stearns and shows where he was heading with his talents. It also reminds me of the song included in the demo, Demon On The Loose, which I think he wrote the lyrics to as well. So there was definitely a developing theme that BTD was heading towards.
BTD were:
John Scrivner - Bass
Steve Stearns - Drums
Craig Pearson - Vox
Glen Manola - Guitar
Included in the upload file are a few pictures and flyers. Enjoy!
